The first Roundel Competition was introduced in 2017 and came about as a result of our wish to provide a unique and significant memento to our Lord Mayor speaker. With the blessing of former Lord Mayor and then Master Glazier, Sir David Wootton an open competition was launched, attracting talented professional stained and painted glass artists from across the UK.
