We signed the Armed Forces Covenant on 11 July 2025 at Guildhall during the tenth Reflections Gala. This commitment recognises the contribution of serving personnel, veterans and their families. It reflects our belief in stewardship, service and the role of creativity in building stronger communities.
Our Pledge
We promise to support the armed forces community with fairness, respect and understanding. We recognise the value that serving personnel, veterans and their families bring to civic and cultural life. Our pledge strengthens our intention to create opportunities that support wellbeing, connection and participation.

Honouring Veterans at the Gala
We welcome veterans and serving personnel to the annual Reflections Gala. Their contribution is recognised within the programme and within our wider themes of gratitude, service and civic connection.
Amplifying Veteran Voices
Our Reflect and Connect podcast gives space for veterans to share their stories. It explores how creativity can support identity, purpose and community through lived experience.
Creating with Purpose
We involve veterans and children of veterans in creative projects linked to stewardship, sustainability and service. These projects give space for expression and connection.
Pathways of Belonging
We work with partners to open up opportunities for mentoring, collaboration and community involvement.
