“I really enjoyed taking part in the roundel competition, it was so much fun. Learning about the history of the Lord Mayor was particularly enjoyable. I learnt a lot about the 693rd Lord Mayor of London. I am really excited to meet him and so delighted to have won. It will be amazing to see my design brought to life.”

“We are delighted to have entered the competition this year, as it allows our cadets to learn about the life, work and achievements of the 693rd Lord Mayor of London Vincent Keaveny CBE. The competition developed many skills within our cadets, piquing their interest in their local history, the creativity of designing the Roundel and in research skills. It was exciting to see the process of them designing their Roundels, and the sense of ownership and pride over their designs. It was a fantastic opportunity for our cadets, and we are very grateful."
