Video Submission Ownership and Usage Rights<\/h3>\n

By submitting a video to the \"Connect to Prosper\" Global Video Challenge, participants agree to the following terms and conditions:<\/p>\n

Ownership<\/strong>: a. Participants retain the original copyright of their submitted video. b. By entering the competition, participants grant the organisers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, distribute, and reproduce the submitted video for purposes related to the competition and its promotion.<\/p>\n

Usage Rights<\/strong>: a. The organisers reserve the right to use, display, and distribute the submitted videos in any media format, including but not limited to websites, social media platforms, promotional materials, and public screenings. b. This usage right extends to promotional activities related to future iterations of the competition. c. The organisers may use excerpts or stills from the videos for promotional purposes without additional permission from or compensation to the participants.<\/p>\n

Attribution<\/strong>: a. The organisers will make reasonable efforts to credit the creators when using their videos, where practicable. b. Participants agree that such credit may not always be possible in all forms of media or promotion.<\/p>\n

Duration<\/strong>: The license granted to the organisers is perpetual and irrevocable, allowing for long-term archival and historical documentation of the competition.<\/p>\n

Modifications<\/strong>: a. The organisers reserve the right to make minor edits or adjustments to the videos for formatting purposes, if necessary. b. Any substantial alterations will be communicated to and approved by the original creators.<\/p>\n

Third-Party Rights<\/strong>: a. Participants warrant that their submitted videos do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. b. Participants agree to indemnify and hold the organisers harmless from any claims arising from using their submitted videos.<\/p>\n

Compensation<\/strong>: Participants understand and agree that no additional compensation will be provided for the organisers' use of the videos as outlined in these terms.<\/p>\n

Withdrawal<\/strong>: Once submitted, videos cannot be withdrawn from the competition unless there are exceptional circumstances, subject to the organisers' discretion.<\/p>\n

Dispute Resolution<\/strong>: a. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through arbitration following the laws in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Acceptance<\/strong>: By submitting a video to the competition, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Language Requirements:<\/strong>\u00a0a. While the primary language of the competition is English, submissions in other languages are accepted. b. Non-English submissions must include English subtitles or translations of any spoken or written content within the video.<\/p>\n

Age Restrictions:<\/strong>\u00a0a. Participants must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years old at the time of submission. b. Minors may participate with verifiable parental or guardian consent.<\/p>\n

Compliance with Local Laws<\/strong>: a. Participants are responsible for ensuring their participation complies with the laws of their country of residence. b. The organisers reserve the right to disqualify entries from jurisdictions where such competitions are prohibited.<\/p>\n

Visa and Travel Considerations:<\/strong>\u00a0a. If finalists are required to travel, the organisers will provide the necessary documentation to support visa applications. b. However, the participants are ultimately responsible for obtaining necessary travel documents.<\/p>\n

Non-Discrimination:<\/strong>\u00a0a. The competition does not discriminate based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, or any other protected characteristic. b.
